Youths Collapse Canopy At Isiaka Adeleke's Burial In Osun. Photos

The First Civilian Governor of Osun State and serving Senator, Isiaka Adeleke, who died in the early hours of Sunday, April 23, 2017, at a private hospital in Osogbo after succumbing to a protracted ailment has been buried amidst wailing. According to reports filtering in from Osun, angry supporters of Adeleke collapsed canopy in order to show their with Idiat Babalola, who is a Commissioner nominee of Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

According to a report by Core TV News, Babalola who was seated among the dignitaries including the younger brother of the deceased, Deji Adeleke, was allegedly chased out by the youths who alleged that the former Governor was poisoned by some APC leaders. The Problem started when Babalola was sighted by the mourners who demanded that she should be sent out. Despite pleas from family members of the deceased, the youths insisted and started shouting and raining curses.

The youths started shaking the canopy which later collapsed.

The school had earlier organized the four days Easter retreat for the students and had also made attendance mandatory. Nigerian Navy To Use 'made In Aba' Shoes, Uniforms (photos)

The Nigerian navy has indicated interest in patronizing 'Made in Aba' products. A deal between the Navy and the Abia state government when the Governor of the state, Okezie Ikpeazu, in the company of the Commissioner for Industry, Chief Henry Ikoh received a high powered delegation from the Chief of Naval Staff, led by Commodore Chris Obinta at the Abia State Governor's Lodge Aba recently. Speaking at the occasion, Ikpeazu expressed his profound appreciation to the Federal Government for supporting and given impetus to the "Made_in_Aba" initiative. Quoting Ikpeazu, "I commend the Nigeria Navy for indicating interest in procuring their wears from our people here in Aba. I must commend the Federal Government for the support given to our Made-in-Aba promotion campaign."
