All they did was to harass me,saying I am yahoo boy cause I had dreads on me,and I use an iPhone that who is my father for me to be using an iPhone,that even them don't use it,threatened to shoot me,the cut my necklace,handcuffed me,then tore my short when they were struggling to take my money from my front pocket not knowing my wallet was in my back pocket,they made me defer my exams,cause they took my fees,They Stopped me at Okota,then dropped me at 3rd Mainland Brigde

They did not allow me to bring out my clothing ID card or call anyone."

The Illegality Of Covenant University Students’ Suspension By School Management

By Festus Ogun The management of the Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State has suspended about 200 undergraduates of the faith-based institution for missing an Easter ‘Youth Alive’ program. The school had earlier organized the four days Easter retreat for the students and had also made attendance mandatory. However, while some of the students were fed up – for various reasons – of going for church services in the morning and evening for the four uninterrupted days, they couldn’t just but miss some days out of the retreat. Surprisingly and unfortunately to them, they have been punished through suspension by the school management for simply missing the compulsory Easter program. Some were suspended for a year. Nigerian Navy To Use 'made In Aba' Shoes, Uniforms (photos)

The Nigerian navy has indicated interest in patronizing 'Made in Aba' products. A deal between the Navy and the Abia state government when the Governor of the state, Okezie Ikpeazu, in the company of the Commissioner for Industry, Chief Henry Ikoh received a high powered delegation from the Chief of Naval Staff, led by Commodore Chris Obinta at the Abia State Governor's Lodge Aba recently. Speaking at the occasion, Ikpeazu expressed his profound appreciation to the Federal Government for supporting and given impetus to the "Made_in_Aba" initiative. Quoting Ikpeazu, "I commend the Nigeria Navy for indicating interest in procuring their wears from our people here in Aba. I must commend the Federal Government for the support given to our Made-in-Aba promotion campaign." This deal is coming shortly after Ikpeazu successfully brokered a deal in China for a 1.5 billion dollars shoe industry to be built in Aba.
