Man brutalizes daughter for going to neighbor's house to watch TV (photos)

A young girl identified simply as Esther, has been beaten mercilessly by her father because she went into a neighbour's room to watch television in Ibadan, Oyo state.

According to Olagunju Adekunle who posted the brutalized pictures of the young girl on Facebook, when the man was questioned as to why he beat up his daughter that way, his reasons were so disheartening. Read the post below and gathered by NAIJ.com:

"God,I can't just believe this in my life,i was driving to the office this morning and I've a reasons to make a call and before I know,I was out of call card ,as I alighted from my car to get a recharge card ,I sighted this small girl(Esther by name) be beaten mercilessly with his heartless and reasonless father.

"Please where are the human right, who can be of assistance to help this girl out of her heartless father? I was so fortunate to interrogate her mother who told me that the girl went to the next neighbour room just to watch TV.

"I took the girl to the nearby police station on our way getting there ,the girl and her mother was redirected to the nearby police station which is very closer to their house. I called her father and I questioned him the reasons why he beats the girl mercilessly like that and his respond was very dishearten even he promises and threaten to beat his wife on her way back from work....Good people of Nigeria,kindly give helping hands as regard to this case, before it's getting out of hands."

A forty-year-old man, Isiya Inusa, on Thursday, confessed that he killed an okada rider because of his inability to pay the N100 fare. Isiya, who spoke in Hausa at the headquarters of Katsina State Police Command where he was paraded, said he attacked the rider along Kankara-Kabuki Road, in Katsina. He said, “Yes, I slaughtered him with my knife. I asked him to take me to Kabuki village from Kankara. He demanded N100 as fare. The newly deployed mobile CCTV camera procured by the Lagos State Government for the operatives of the Lagos Rapid Response Squad has recorded its first surveillance arrest. The suspect was arrested in Oshodi while the Mobile CCTV was being deployed at Oshodi to monitor the area.
