AGBANI DAREGO MARRIES TY DANJUMA'S SON IN MOROCCO (photos)

Agbani Darego, 2001 Miss World got married over the weekend to Ishaya Danjuma, son of former Defense minister and business man, Theophilus (TY) Danjuma. Agbani Darego and husband According to some online reports, the beauty queen/ fashion entrepreneur shared the news on her Instagram page with the picture showing her in a wedding dress with her partner turning their backs to the camera at the wedding. She shared the picture with the caption, â€œ08-04-2017, #Mrs. Danjuma â€œwhich was further confirmed by her friend Elizabeth Elohor. Elohor while sharing the same picture wrote, â€œCongratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Danjuma @agbanidarego. May the almighty God bless your union. #mysisismarried, #beautifulcouple, #Marrakesh. Her post revealed that the couple held the wedding ceremony in Marrakesh, Morocco over the weekend. Agbani is best known as the first native African to win Miss World when she clinched the crown in 2001 at the age of 18 after she became the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria that same year. A graduate of Psychology from New York University, Agbani became the first Nigerian to place among the top 10 semi-finalists, finishing seventh overall. She has judged numerous pageants, and fashion and modeling competitions including Miss World 2014, Miss England 2002, Mr. Scotland 2002, and Elite Model Look Nigeria 2012 and 2014. Agbani helms her eponymous ready-to-wear denim and leisurewear fashion company, AD by Agbani Darego which she launched in 2010. According to media reports, little is known of her husband, Ishaya except for his active involvement in his family (Danjuma) business.

The Lagos state task force has prosecuted 114 hoodlums linked to a fracas that occurred in Mushin a few weeks ago. Following the clash between the hoodlums from Alamutu and Akala-Elegba boys in Mushin Local Government, 114 of them were arrested alongside an alleged notorious killer and rapist from the council. Nnamdi Kanu's Bail Conditions

The Federal High Court, Abuja, on Tuesday admitted the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, to bail on health grounds. In a brief ruling, Justice Binta Nyako said that she was convinced that Kanu was ill and needed more medical attention than the Nigerian Prisons was giving him. “The first defendant, Nnamdi Kanu, has appealed to the court for bail based on health grounds and it is only the living that can stand trial. “So I am minded to grant him bail so that he can attend to his health and face his trial alive,” Nyako said. She, however, ordered that while on bail, Kanu must not hold any rallies, grant any interviews or be in a crowd of more than 10 people. Nyako gave other bail conditions to include three sureties in the sum of N100 million each.
